Our buildings are very simple to erect. The majority of our customers erect our buildings theirselves. They come with detailed instructions and drawing so that you can put the building up yourself and save money.
We have located qualified erectors in a variety of states to help you erect your building. |

What kind of steel does QMBS sell? |

Quantum Metal Building Systems is proud to provide you with All American quality steel products. Quantum uses heavy duty commercial grade 26 gauge color roof, walls and trim as opposed to our competitors who only provide you with lighter 28-29 gauge. The steel girts are 8”and 10” and 12 “ 14 gauge and 12 gauge. For larger building applications Quantum uses heavy duty structural steel in the end walls which gives you a solid building that lasts a life time. |

Are steel buildings really more cost-effective to build than conventional Wood post frame or stone? |

Absolutely and without a doubt. The relative ease of assembling a steel building where every part fits in a specific pre-drilled location cuts down immensely on the assembly and from there on you have a building of solid steel with no wood rot or decay (even treated lumber will rot much faster than steel), with no soft spots, and with no worries about structural damage caused by termites. Also, with wood post frames, you have to worry about screws loosening and pulling out over time. Screws stay put in an all steel building. Because there is little worry about structural damage from fire, your insurance bill will be less. or screws pulling out with time. |

What are the buildings made of? |

Quantum Buildings are constructed of a solid steel rigid frame structure consisting of heavy duty steel purlins and girts. All buildings come complete with 26 guage steel color roof, walls and trim for a beautiful and long lasting buildings. |

What kind of features can I add to my building? |

Any feature you can dream of can be included in a Quantum building package. To name a few you can add sliding, overhead roll up, or bi-fold doors. As well as: windows of any size, roof pitches from 1/12 to 12/12, mezzanines, overhangs, canopies, cupolas, ridge vents, lean to's, roll up doors, walk doors, half walls , and many more features. |

How long does it take to get a building delivered? |

We pride our selves on our 'faster than our competitors' delivery schedule. Normally, we can deliver your building to you in Three weeks, but we try for two. |

Will a steel building meet local building codes for wind, snow, seismic, and exposure loads? |

Your Quantum building is designed to your local code down to your local zip code and will not be fabricated unless they meet every local code requirement. Engineer stamped drawings can be provided upon request or where required. |

Are special engineered foundation drawings needed? |

Usually not on private buildings but that will depend on the state you reside in. The majority of commercial buildings do require it. |
